Summary:

I don’t do DANGEROUS.

Smart, über-careful, ordinary Samantha—that’s me. But I just couldn’t pass up a surprise kiss from my number-one unattainable crush. A kiss that did something to me…something strange. Now I feel hungry all the time, but not for food. It’s like part of me is missing—and I don’t know if I can get it back.

Then there’s Bishop. At first I thought he was just a street kid, but the secrets he’s keeping are as intense as his unearthly blue eyes. If he’s what I think he is, he may be the only one who can help me. But something terrifying is closing in, and the one chance Bishop and I have to stop it means losing everything I ever wanted and embracing the darkness inside me….

Nightwatchers: When angels and demons must work together, something beyond evil is rising…

My Thoughts:

This was an interesting book.  First off you have just an average teen girl, who turns out not to be so average. She’s actually very special.  Then you have Angels and Demons actually working together, in order to save the world. And it all started with a kiss, one that Sam should have enjoyed since it was with the guy she had a crush on. But it only lead to trouble, and spun Sam into a place where she just didn’t know who to trust. Because it seemed like everyone wanted something from her. And she just wanted to stay true to herself, and to protect her best friend Carly.

This is a pretty quick read, and one that will catch your attention quickly. I found it to be very enjoyable and I look forward to any others from this Nightwatchers series. If you like fantasy paranormal books with angels and demons then you should like this one too.

Over all rating: 4/5 stars************************************************************
