My little nook on the web
I really like the concept of this book. Taking the Bible and re-telling it more as a story rather than a text to study. I think that the extra verbiage is a great way to get some new readers, who might get lost with one of the original translations.
Now actually reading it, this I am afraid did take some time for me to get used to.
This was a fun book to read. I can completely and utterly relate to Susannah, in some was more than ever right now. Having to move away from everything that is known and comfortable, to the unknown. This was a very nice book to read to my almost 5 year old daughter. She enjoyed the big colorful pictures, and the story was something that she could understand and relate to.
